I can’t thank God enough for this wonderful, strong, feisty, lovely woman that I am privileged to call, “Mom.” She has taught me never to give up, to stand up for what I believe in, and has been known to tell me on occasion to “pull [myself] up by [my] bootstraps.”
She has a great laugh that invites you to laugh along with her. She loves politics and her faith and would do anything to help any of us.
No matter what trials she has been through or is going through, she still gets up, puts on her lipstick, grabs her rosary, and keeps going.
Whenever I struggle, I know I can call her, and she’ll quickly remind me that my great grandmother traveled across the prairie on a covered wagon (in other words, that I come from a long line of strong women and I have nothing to complain about 😆).
Happy Mother’s Day to my beautiful mom, to my beautiful mother-in-law (not pictured), and to all of the mothers out there; whether a physical mother, a spiritual mother, or a mother figure.
May your day be filled with lots of love and many blessings.
Praying for you all!
